Obedience

Throughout the Bible, we can see how obedience is an important aspect. It is not an idea to be taken lightly but to be taken very earnestly.

These verses are given as instruction for us to follow:

John 15:14 NIV

"If you love me, keep my commands"

Leviticus 18:30 NIV

"Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the LORD your God."

Deuteronomy 10:20 NIV

"Fear the LORD your God and serve him."

Deuteronomy 8:6 NIV

"Observe the commands of the LORD your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him."

These are just some of the verses from scripture where God is speaking to His people to obey Him.

In our obedience we can be successful and we will triumph, for God is with us!
