Is Your Life Your Own?

The decisions we make demonstrate who and what influences our lives. In October, I had to make some decisions, and although I didn't always make the right choice, the conviction I later felt guided my next steps. Whether it was repentance or undoing something, I was reminded that I am not my own.
In the Word of God, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV states,
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
Galatians 2:20 NIV states,
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Reflection
As I reflect on these verses, I am reminded that I belong to Jesus, so I must honor Him with my words, my dressing, my conduct, my life!
I do not get it right all the time, but in correction by the Holy Spirit, I yield for transformation to keep at work in and through me.
Jesus paid it all, He purchased me, and I belong to Him!
Hebrews 9:11-28 NIV
As I reflect on this, I am reminded of the sacrificial love that Jesus has for all individuals.
Furthermore, I am conscious in my mind to be a reflection of the love that Jesus is!
And in this, I try daily to be intentional with my conduct!
I hope this post finds you all well! As we close out October, I hope that we strive to keep, keeping on in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!
Jesus loves you all!
