Flight or Fight

How do we act when the truth comes to set us free? Do you receive the truth, do you run from the truth, or do you fight the truth?
In John 6:35 NIV, the Word of God says,
"Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."
In John 6:41-42 NIV, the Word of God says,
"At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, " I am the bread that came down from heaven." They said, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ' I came down from heaven'?
In John 6:61-65 NIV, the Word of God says,
" Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, "Does this offend you? Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you--they are full of the Spirit and life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe."
In John 6:66 NIV, the Word of God says,
"From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him."
Reflection
Jesus reveals who He is to the Jews; however, the Jews refused to accept the truth of Jesus. They labeled Him as a regular man and refused to believe what Jesus was telling them. It also occurred where some of Jesus disciples refused to believe who He was and ended up walking away from Him.
So when the truth comes to set you free, do you receive with an open heart or do you run in the opposite direction?
The Word of God says in John 8:36 NIV,
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
I hope you receive the truth that is Jesus!
As scripture says in John 14:6 NIV,
"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Have a blessed week! Jesus loves you!
